Faith Formation

We believe that Faith Formation starts at home as a family and continues through a lifelong journey of learning about our Catholic faith.

As a family baptizes their child, they are welcomed into fellowship in our parish community to learn and grow in our Religious Education classes. Youth Groups continue the fellowship through the teen years and young adulthood. Within this structure are special classes for First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion, as well as Confirmation.

Adults, too, have opportunities to enrich their faith and for those who are interested in the Catholic faith or reconnecting with it, we offer our Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults program (RCIA) , which is an extensive study of our faith culminating in Baptism, Communion, and Confirmation together, as the “sacraments of Christian initiation.” A branch of this is RCIT, for older youth, who have not completed their initiation sacraments.

And for the whole family, we offer BUILT, a faith program that uses a series of videos, each roughly 30 minutes long which you can watch at home with your family. Then you discuss, using questions that will be posted in the bulletin each week.
