Each year, from early March through mid-December, Silver Roses are stewarded by Knights of Columbus councils along routes from Canada to Mexico. Every stop the Silver Rose makes throughout the pilgrimage is a rosary-centered occasion for Knights, parishioners and community members to pray for respect for life, for the spiritual renewal of each nation, and for the advancement of the message of Our Lady of Guadalupe. All members of the community are encouraged to join our Knights to pray for a civilization of love and culture of life in our country and throughout the world.
Join us on Monday, June 21 at 7 PM for this special prayer service.

In light of the recent update of CDC guidelines regarding fully vaccinated people not wearing masks, and in accord with the recent news release from Archbishop Hartmayer, moving forward those who have been fully vaccinated will not be required to wear masks at Mass or other parish events whether indoors or outdoors.
As the Archbishop’s statement notes, we will not require proof of vaccination from those not wearing masks. Here follows a portion of the press release from the Archbishop:
“ In light of this update, the Archdiocese of Atlanta will continue to recommend masks at Masses, but will give pastors discretion to allow vaccinated people to remove them. Those who are not vaccinated should still wear a mask. We will have to rely on peoples’ honesty, as we cannot ask for their personal health information.”
Under the Safe Environment guidelines, parishes are required to offer VIRTUS Classes for all persons working with children. We are in need of facilitators to lead these classes here at St. Joseph. Once trained, you are only required to facilitate a class four times a year at your convenience. Won’t you consider giving to our Parish in this special way?
Four training sessions have been scheduled for 2021 to train facilitators for VIRTUS Protecting God’s Children. Simply pick the one you can attend.
