All seniors and those young at heart are invited to join us for our First Friday get-together on October 7th. We will begin at 11am in the gym with a talk by Fr. Paul, then recitation of the Rosary. Lunch will follow in the parish hall. No reservations required, and no cost to attend, but donations are always welcome. If you wish, you may bring a door prize or a dessert to share.
This month we will celebrate October birthdays and Halloween, so wear a costume if you like. Contact Betty-Anne Dye, 706-549-8223 if you have questions.
The Columbiettes Annual Mother-Daughter Tea will be held on Sunday, October 9
at the Historic Ag Building in Bogart. Due to the change to this new venue, ONLY 60 tickets will be sold on
a first come, first paid basis.
Ticket sales begin after all Masses September 24/25.
The Knights of Columbus are once again sponsoring a Rosary for our Confirmation students. The Rosary will be said 30 minutes before each
Confirmation class in the Chapel. Join us Sundays at 3:00 PM and on Mondays at 5:30 PM—Anyone is welcome to attend.
There will be a table on the porch on accepting donations for flowers for the Altar for the coming year.
Flowers may be donated in celebration of an anniversary, in memory of a loved one, or other special occasion.

Registration is still open for Bible Study for Women, which will begin Thursday, September 29 at 9 AM. We will be using the Walking with Purpose study called “Touching the Divine.”
Cost is $75.00 which includes a light breakfast each week, the book, videos and childcare or school room if needed.

The 20th Annual Dooley Classic Golf Tournament is on Monday, September 19th at the UGA Golf Course. Join us for a wonderful day of golf, food, and prizes. There is still time to register to golf although spaces are limited. Sponsors are always welcome and appreciated. Forms are available on the Catholic Center website at www.ccatuga.org or by picking up a form in the Catholic Center office or at the back of the chapel. We are also raffling off a chance to win signed footballs from Coaches Dooley and Smart as well as Stetson Bennett and signed basketballs from Coaches Abrahamson-Henderson and White. Tickets are $10 each or 3 for $25. Raffle tickets are available to purchase through the Catholic Center front office or after the 5PM Mass Sept.3, and the 8AM & 10:30AM Masses Sept. 4 and 11.
